CALLING ALL AL-ANON MEMBERS!
OUR CHILDREN NEED YOUR HELP
THEY NEED MORE ALATEEN MEETINGS AND MORE AMIAS/SPONSORS.
IF YOU HAVE BEEN IN AL-ANON FOR TWO OR MORE YEARS AND ARE CURRENTLY INVOLVED IN AN AL-ANON
GROUP, THEN YOUR SERVICE IS VERY MUCH NEEDED.
THERE ARE SO FEW ALATEEN MEETINGS IN SUFFOLK COUNTY, AND SO FEW SPONSORS. THAT PUTS ALL MEETINGS AT RISK OF CLOSING BECAUSE OF LACK OF SPONSORSHIP.
OUR CHILDREN ARE ALSO VERY AFFECTED BY ALCOHOLISM. WHERE DO THEY GO FOR HELP WHEN THERE ARE VERY FEW ALATEEN MEETINGS AND ALATEEN SPONSORS TO TURN TO?
WE AS AL-ANON MEMBERS KNOW HOW IMPORTANT THESE MEETINGS ARE TO HAVE IN OUR LIVES TO HELP US WITH OUR DAILY STRUGGLES OF HAVING FAMILY MEMBERS OR FRIENDS THAT SUFFER FROM ALCOHOLISM.
LET'S PASS THE GIFT OF PROGRAM ON TO OUR KIDS BY SPONSORING AN ALATEEN MEETING.
WE ARE PUTTING IN PLACE ALATEEN TRAINING TO HELP YOU UNDERSTAND MORE ABOUT ALATEEN SPONSORSHIP.
IF YOU CAN SPARE AN HOUR A WEEK OF YOUR TIME TO BECOME AN ALATEEN SPONSOR CONTACT US at Alateen-coordinator@al-anon-suffolk-ny.org
WE WILL HELP FIND A LOCATION FOR YOU TO SPONSOR AN ALATEEN MEETING, IF YOU WILL JUST SAY YES TO THIS SERVICE.
